During National Principals Month, We Are Hoke proudly recognizes Dacia Bullard, principal of Hawk Eye Elementary School, and thanks her for serving the students, educators, and families of the Hawks community. Her role carries the important responsibility of guiding a school where children build the academic skills and confidence that support their future.
Bullard’s professional milestones include serving as an assistant principal at Hoke County High School before becoming principal of Hawk Eye Elementary. Her service across different school levels represents valuable experience in supporting students and school communities.
At Hawk Eye, her documented work includes communicating school improvement priorities to families. In an October 2025 letter, Bullard outlined goals focused on strengthening instruction, expanding student support, encouraging family and community partnerships, and supporting children’s intellectual, physical, and emotional development. The letter also identified thoughtful use of technology and investment in teachers and staff as important priorities. These are ongoing goals that reflect the scope of her leadership responsibilities.
Leading an elementary school requires patience, collaboration, and countless decisions that affect children’s daily experiences. National Principals Month gives our community an opportunity to recognize that service and express appreciation for the people entrusted with helping our schools move forward.
Principal Bullard, thank you for your service to Hawk Eye Elementary and your commitment to its students, staff, and families. We Are Hoke celebrates you and the work you do for the Hawks!
