We Are Hoke Launches at the HokeComing Tailgate
Community pride, alumni fellowship, and Hoke County High School spirit will come together during the HokeComing Tailgate on Friday, October 2, 2026, when residents, graduates, families, and local businesses gather ahead of the homecoming football game. Presented by the Hoke County Alumni Association, the tailgate will also mark the official launch of the We Are Hoke Media, Magazine, and Marketplace.
Tailgate setup is scheduled to begin around 4:30 p.m., with activities expected to conclude at sometime after the ballgame is over. The event will provide an opportunity for former classmates, community leaders, families, and supporters of Hoke County High School to reconnect while celebrating the pride and traditions that make Hoke County special. According to the organizer’s announcement, security deputies will be present to help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone attending.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the We Are Hoke booth to learn more about this exciting new community-focused platform, enjoy free food, and discover what everyone is talking about. Representatives will be available to explain how We Are Hoke will connect residents, promote local stories, highlight community achievements, and help area businesses reach more potential customers.
The We Are Hoke Marketplace is designed to give local businesses, organizations, and service providers greater visibility through customized landing pages, featured articles, digital and print magazine advertising, and online promotional opportunities. Business owners who want to get their names in front of more customers can visit the booth, discuss the available services, and select promotional options that meet their individual goals.
Businesses that sign up for We Are Hoke services during the tailgate will also receive a free We Are Hoke T-shirt while supplies last. This special launch-day provides business owners with an additional reason to visit the booth, meet the team, and learn how We Are Hoke can help their businesses become more visible throughout Hoke County and surrounding communities.
